SLX-ET-VF Entryway Venturi Foamer

The SLX-ET-VF is an automated entryway foam applicator for applying foamed cleaning solution or sanitizer to the floor of a door or entryway to help prevent cross contamination. The system features a built-in venturi injector that works with standard, city water pressure (35-125 PSI) to dilute concentrated chemistry, in line, to create an accurately measured cleaning solution. Air is injected after the venturi to produce thick, clinging foam to ensure floor coverage of doorways from 3 foot wide standard doors up to 16 foot wide overhead doors.

The foamer is activated using a timer system which can be controlled and modified using a touchscreen interface to adjust timer settings and also enable “boost” functionality to increase the spray frequency for when it matters most. The controller can host up to 5 Satellite foamers to simultaneously activate 6 systems at once (single zone). All activations are recorded and logged to the system to be downloaded for review.

What's in the box?

• Timed controller with color HMI and built-in reporting
• Venturi Foamer with polypropylene body and PVC insert (insert size varies depending on flow rate)
• Stainless steel mounting bracket
• Color coded metering tips (set of 22 metering tips, including driver)
• 6' suction line with mesh screen and ceramic weight
• 10' blue discharge hose
• Polypropylene foam spreader nozzle with wall bracket
  • High flow V42 units (4.2 GPM) receive 2 nozzles for spraying each side of large overhead doors

Install

1. Mount controller and foamer to suitable surface (i.e. wall or mounting board)
2. Install nozzle(s) near floor, angled at the doorway area for foam application (spray pattern size will vary based on model)
3. Connect the hose to the foamer's dispense port and spread nozzle 
4. Connect water to the strainer at the top of the foamer
5. Connect air to the solenoid above the controller
6. Install metering tip
7. Install chemical suction line (included)
8. Plug controller into power (120VAC)
9. Verify pressure setting for optimal flow rate
10. Open ball valves
11. Press Start
12. Start foaming!
